One Russian Winter is now online.
The second last Vee Gates' song ever recorded! (1989)
June 04, 2007
There once was a song called Reggae
Mortis composed and performed by the Vee Gates back in 1988 in
Montreal. Many eons later in 2003, the song was refurbished by Vee
Gates front-man Petey Forrest into a song for his children's Halloween
CD The Frankenstein Files.
The good news is in that NYC's renaissance gothic artist
Voltaire has done a fab.
version of Reggae Mortis (June 2007) based on the Frankenstein Files
version!

I decided to purchase the veegates.com
domain name! The price was right! Cost about the same as a 24 pack
of beer! Not bad! I've now consolidated all the following
hosted hobby sites sites under one account.
There is now lots of breathing room for TONS of files!

I just dug up the first Vee Gates show in London, Ontario souvenir
song sheet! It's very funny how some tunes were listed as ? or !.
I'm not even sure now after all these years what that meant! hehe

January 6, 2005
Added new photos. They will be shrunk
and organized later. Enjoy for now.
January 3, 2005
Added the lyrics for the songs on the music page.
Click on a song title and it will bring you to the lyrics and you can
download the full mp3. There is also an alphabetical song index
pulldown menu on the music page.
December 31, 2004 HAPPY NEW YEAR!
The openings and endings of the mp3s have been cleaned up. Some
of the files contained too much space and song overlap.
December 20, 2004
Updated the music page. It now has the
proper chronological recording history of the Vee Gates (1986-1988) with
full mp3s at your beckon call! lol

The 1985
London, Ontario "The Game is afoot" 3 song demo tape has just been converted from
the original studio reel to reel (dated Feb. 26, 1985). This "off
the floor" demo was engineered by Rob Nation at
Emac Studios in London,
Ontario. Many thanks goes out to David Cain of
SoundMaster Studios
of Ottawa, Canada for artfully rescuing the original, almost 20-year old Ampex
reel to reel!
